Women Swimmin’ for Hospicare

All summer long our participants will be Going the Distance by walkin’, swimmin’ laps, knittin’, bikin’, and pickin’ up trash and on Saturday, August 10th our swimmin’ women will jump in Cayuga Lake in support of compassionate care in our community! Thanks to our Corporate Sponsors every dollar raised goes directly to patient care.

  • GO THE DISTANCE – From May ’til Swim Day, anyone can participate by doing any activity in support of Hospicare. Whether you are walkin’, swimmin’ laps, knittin’, bikin’, or pickin’ up trash, we are grateful for your support!
  • WOMEN SWIMMIN’ FOR HOSPICARE – Swim the lake on Saturday, August 10th! Our swimmin’ women are invited to join us for a 1.2 mile swim at the Yacht Club. 
  • SUPPORT PADDLER – Support paddlers and kayakers help keep our swimmin’ women safe! We couldn’t do this event without you!
  • VOLUNTEER – There are several options for volunteering! There are a few tasks that would need to be completed before the event and the day of the event, we couldn’t do this event without you! Volunteer sign ups will open on June12th.

Our Mission Statement

Women Swimmin’ for Hospicare is a fundraising event that supports the care which Hospicare & Palliative Care Services brings to patients and their loved ones at any stage of a life-limiting  illness and/or following a death. Women Swimmin’ for Hospicare raises funds and provides information and education about the agency and its mission in a manner that is inclusive, fun, and consistent with Hospicare’s respect for all people.
