Your Sponsorship Makes a Difference
At Hospicare, we provide compassionate end-of-life care and ongoing bereavement support—at no cost—to individuals and families in our community. Our free community programs offer comfort, connection, and healing, touching the lives of over 2,000 people in Tompkins and Cortland counties each year.
As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of local businesses to ensure that everyone who qualifies for our care receives it, regardless of their ability to pay. Your sponsorship directly supports these vital services.
All sponsors receive: a shout-out in our printed newsletter (reaching more than 9000 households), an invitation to our year-end appreciation event, and an invitation to a special HospiCARING luncheon this fall.
We offer five unique opportunities for your business to get involved and give back through community sponsorships.
Women Swimmin' for Hospicare
Opportunities starting at $500.
Take the plunge! Join us as a sponsor of Women Swimmin’ for Hospicare, our most beloved and high-profile annual fundraiser. Now in its 23rd year, this inspiring event raises essential funds for the care of terminally ill patients and their loved ones in Tompkins and Cortland counties.
Last year, Women Swimmin’ for Hospicare raised more than $650k during the fundraising window of May through August 8th (Swim Day), with 450+ participants, 7,000 donations, and 200+ volunteers. Many participants swim and fundraise in memory of a loved one or in gratitude for the care they received at Hospicare.
Sponsorships cover the expenses that make our event so successful, including food and beverages for the swimmers and other participants, port-a-potties, the sound system, and even the buses that transport the swimmers the swim point. In return, our sponsors–of all levels–receive recognition in a variety of high-impact ways, including visibility in front of thousands of community members. While we encourage monetary sponsorship, we’re open to a combination of both monetary and in-kind.
Women Chillin' for Hospicare
Sponsorship: $1500
Each year, we bring together past swimmers, boaters, and volunteers to celebrate their contributions and strengthen their connection to the Hospicare mission.
Sponsorships for Women Chillin’ cover the costs of hosting our celebration of the volunteers and participants of our most successful fundraising event of the year, Women Swimmin’ for Hospicare, including items such event locations, food & beverages, entertainment, and awards. We encourage monetary sponsorship but are open to a combination of both monetary and in-kind. In return, Women Chillin’ sponsors are recognized as both a Women Chillin’ AND Women Swimmin’ sponsors with visibility of thousands of community members.
Illuminations
Sponsorship: $1000
Join us in supporting our springtime community memorial event. As an Illuminations sponsor, you're helping to cover the cost of the tent rental, food and beverages, live music, and honorariums (as shown in the picture above).
As a sponsor, you'll get credit on all event marketing for this beloved community memorial. You'll also be named as the signature "Caring Sponsor" on the printed program.
Finding Light in the Darkness
Sponsorship: $1250
Our fall memorial event, held in downtown Ithaca, brings individuals and families together for an evening of song, stories, and rememberence. Your sponsorship helps to cover the cost of live
musicians, space rental, catering, and preparing the programs and other materials.
As a sponsor for this event, you'll recieve credit on all event marketing. You'll also be named as the signature "Caring Sponsor" on the printed program.

Support the future of Hospicare.
As a Good Care Sponsor, your gift helps Hospicare provide expert compassionate care year-round. We serve hundreds of families each year, through hospice care, palliative, bereavement, community events, and more. Our Good Care Sponsors are partners in helping us to better meet the needs of the people under our care.
Depending on your level of support, your business could have your logo and business description placed on our corporate sponsorship web page and be able to share a feature article about your business and your support in our printed newsletter and blog.
